Know when to fold ’em…

Abu Muqawama, one of the first blogs I started reading, was always an interesting analysis of COIN efforts (for those of us Navy types who like to read about the Long War).

Sadly, Andrew is folding up shop …

Allow me to re-introduce myself: My name is Andrew Exum, and I have edited and authored the “Abu Muqawama” blog since February 2007. After much deliberation and consultation, I have decided to stop daily blogging. I owe it to the readership to explain both why and also how it will affect this site.

Not surprising, really. Blogging is a hard business to keep up if you want to maintain outside interests.

There’s a relative few who can do it successfully for any length of time. I don’t think I’m one of them, but thanks for those who keep the torch lit.

As for Andrew, Fair Winds and all that…

One Response to Know when to fold ’em…

Obama has done nothing to resntiate the chinese wall (demolished by Clinton) between commercial deposit banking and investment casino banking; this despite the fact the wall was set up in 1933 to stop the marriage wherein US taxpayers get none of the profit and all of the risk; instead, Obama rehires the same scum that got us into the economic and financial mess we are in. Similarly, Obama is doing nothing about the shell alphabet soup of corporations funneling US taxpayer money into the illegal Israeli settlements, while simultaneously, biting at every Arab American charity as aiders and abettors of terror. And, of course, there is the little matter of more direct aid to Israel uber alles, the 3 billion per year direct, and 3 billion per year indirect aid to Israel uber alles. Add all that together with Germany’s guilt reparations and equally special deals to Israel, and what do you get? Yes.
